Back To School On The Brain...

I got my official teaching assignments today, and my school is only 2 weeks away...Oh my! So I've had school supplies on the brain.

Check out these eco friendly back to school finds!

A chunky, wooden 1971 Fisher Price puzzle piece takes on a new purpose when turned into a fun charm for your zipper, keychain, or bookbag!

Awesome vintage train case jazzed up with an elephant. Wouldn't this be great for a college student?

What a cute idea! Organic linen makes this lunch set eco friendly! The set comes complete with two(2) sandwich/snack bags 7.5" x 7.5" (21cm x 19cm), also lined with the food safe liner and sporting the sweet little blue bird and matching napkin 11" x 11" (28.5 cm sqaure) to keep lunch nice and neat.

So what do you have to do to make this eco chic little pouch yours?

Fantastic Esty Find

I just adore this necklace! Crafted from vintage jewelery bits, it makes an eco chic statement. What a creative idea to take old clip on earrings and create new jewelry pieces!

Owl & Tree Pincushions

I was lucky enough to find several of these amazing vintage linen napkins. The print is earthy and adorable. And I love that I can use every bit of it.

After reserving a couple napkins to use in a baby quilt for my friend Shauna, I decided to make some pincushions (since I am forever having pins laying around everywhere!). And I love, love, love these little cuties!

The backs are brown organic cotton, and they are stuffed full of bamboo/organic cotton fluff. Since I only used a small portion of the vintage napkin, I made some extra pincushions, which will soon be up for grabs in my Etsy shop.
